Dr. Michael Larsen

Dr. Michael A. Larsen was raised in Blackfoot, Idaho as the 8th of 11 children. After serving a church mission in Chihuahua, Mexico and graduating from Brigham Young University, he attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he received training and experience in each of the dental specialties. Since graduation in 2005, Dr. Larsen spent 8 years working in Federally Qualified Health Centers helping the uninsured and underserved before joining Apple Tree Dental. He is excited to be a part of Apple Tree Dental’s fantastic and positive team!

Dr. Larsen is conservative in his practice philosophy and strives to follow minimally invasive dentistry techniques. He believes strongly in empowering the patient through education and allowing them to make informed decisions based on a clear understanding of the issues and available options. He actively seeks out and participates in continuing education to ensure his patients receive the quality, up-to-date care they deserve. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He values greatly his patients and their desires and strives to treat them as he would his own family.

Dr. Larsen has five children. His wife, Marci, was raised in Bountiful, Utah and graduated from both Ricks College and Brigham Young University. He enjoys hiking, reading, volleyball, and spending time with his family.
